EPA, short for the U.S Environmental Protection Agency. It`s main mission is protecting of human`s health and natural environment. The headquarters of EPA is at Washington, and it has ten offices and dozens of laboratory. In Ameriac, EPA has more than 18000 employees, and more than half of them is engineer or scientist or policy analysts. They are in charge of establishing national standard for many environment project, supervisory controling of the performance and according to the Compulsory Standard and series of commercial & industry licence which issued by Union State and local govenment.

The working content of EPA:

    3. Pursue studies of environment

    4. Supportting it`s partners and their plan

    5. Tighten up environment education

　　From 2006.01.01, EPA of U.S.A will carry out the new environment rules, all the motocar, motorcycle that exported to U.S.A must pass the EPA certification, and can get into U.S.A market after getting the certificat and labelling.

　　EPA is enough if the products was sold only in 49 states of U.S.A except California. If the products was exported to California, then, it should pass and get the CARB Certification.
